Welcome to our newest community safety project: CitizenObserver.

There is no limit to what we can accomplish if we all work together, stay alert and stay connected!

To obtain current safety alerts and community information, click on the link below. General Information that can affect all of Matthews will be sent to those who subscribe to the group titled Matthews Police Department.

Sign up for alerts that are targeted for specific neighborhoods, or areas of town, by selecting Watch Groups. Traffic related incidents will also be sent through the Matthews Traffic Alert group. There is no charge for this service, you may sign up for multiple groups and all your information will be kept confidential.
